A pair of (military issue?) metal spurs curved to fit closely around a boot heel with an upward curving arm projecting from the back. The rowel is a small smooth edged metal wheel (appears to be a coin) attached through a slit at the end of the arm. The arm continues through the heel band as a square metal bar (3.6 cm long) that presumably attaches through a hole in the back of a boot. There are false screws (spur bottons) on each side at the front of each spur. One spur is marked “left” on the heel band and both have “Edwardus VII * D,G, Rex Imperator” on the rowel.
