Banff, climbed Rundle, leisure, staying at clubhouse, picnic on Bow river, Sulphur Mountain climb.
- Travel from Banff to Winnipeg to Toronto, to Ottawa, Montreal, New York, board ship S. S. Baltic to Liverpool. Trip into London, dealing with clothing, camera, surveying equipment, trips to India Office, leisure with Dolly. Boat trip to Venice, trip to Suez, to Bombay and return to Dehra Dun. "Altogether a most excellent leave, though somewhat expensive!"
