- Brown leather covered suitcase with metal claps, hinges and a keyed lock. The suitcase is lined with canvas and has four leather straps inside. One outside side panel is marked “R.B.M.” in black. The suitcase contains: a silver (hallmarked) card holder with the initials “PAM” engraved on the front, a metal bookmark with a triangle on top containing “M” in fancy lettering, a plexiglass mangifying rod, a pair of metal cuticle trimmers, a pencil, an Australian Five Pound bill, and a box of “LIEUT. COLONEL PHILIP A. MOORE BANFF ALBERTA CANADA” calling cards.

- A long hard sided case made of board covered in black material. Short edges are reinforced with brown leather that is studded with brass studs. On the front are two brass latches with key hole and a large leather flap with brass buckle. Under flap is a large brass lock that is stamped with “EAGLE LOCK CO TERRYVILLE CT USA.” On top is a leather handle that is held in black by two brass pieces. Handle is stamped with eagle logo. Below handle is a metal label that is stamped with the same eagle and “TRAVELLING GOODS” in a banner and “W.W. WINSHIP 71 SUMMER ST. BOSTON” below. Inside is lined with woven beige paper and has a red label with the same eagle logo as top label. The interior of the case is papered in a patterned blue and white lining. An 8 cm tear in the lid has been patched with a piece of leather sewn on from the inside.
