- Six bottles of beer (empty) with case, signed poster and card. Typical beer bottle with screw off cap. Label affixed to one side has a red border with "Brewed Naturally in the Canadian Rockies" on top and "6% alc./vol. 341 mL" on bottom edge. The scene has mountains in the background with a climber, Bruno Engler, highlighted in the centre, with "Bruno's Mountain Bock " in red. Also on the label is "The Bow Valley Brewing Company Canmore Alberta Strong Beer Biere Forte". The paper case is light brown in colour with the same picture as the label on four sides with stories about Bruno and the beer on the top, other promotion on sides. Poster 91.5x56.0 has a black border with white lettering. "Canmore's Legendary Brew" is in large black letters at top of poster, yellowish background is a mountain scene with a black and white image of the beer bottle centered. Signed "Bruno Engler" on left edge. Small card promoting the book "A Mountain Life Stories and photographs of Bruno Engler edited by R. W. Sandford".

- A well-worn, steel-toed, dark brown, unlined leather climbing boot with hobnailed soles. The upper part of the boot has nine grommetted eyelets for tightening; a soft leather tongue, folded and stitched to either side; eylelets cut in the leather across the toepiece and a tab, for pulling on the boot, sewn to the back. The sole has single clinkers around the forepart and around the heel; muggers in the centre and a single mugger in the centre of the heel; Tricouni nails (5 on the instep) and 4 on the outside opposite. There is a number “75360” written on the inside left ankle part of the boot.

- A well-made green canvas rucksack with leather straps and metal buckles. It has a drawstring closure with metal grommets through which a woven cord is passed through and tied. The flap is a separate piece of canvas sewn onto the sack which is darted and rounded to fit neatly over the top of the pack. A leather strap is attached to the flap by two rivets stamped with the words “WIDE STEEL SHANK” (Note: all rivets mentioned have this lettering). The main sack/bag has a white label sewn onto the top bearing the trademark “A & F” in red thread and “Abercrombie & Fitch Co.” in blue, underneath this “NEW YORK”. Underneath the label the word “MILLS” is hand printed in black indelible ink. There are two flapped pockets attached to the front of the bag; each flap has a leather strap attached to it by one rivet. The pocket has a metal buckle attached to the flap by piece of folded leather attached by two rivets. Between the pockets is another metal buckle attached by piece of folded leather and two rivets. On the back of the bag there is a piece of leather sewn onto the top and two straps for arms to go through; each strap is attached by two rivets; 5cm from the bottom and 3.5cm from each side there are two pieces of green corded material 6.5x2w cm folded over and sewn with green thread in an X-shaped pattern. On the bottom sides of the pack there are two folded pieces of leather, through which a metal ring is inserted, attached by two rivets. A metal push clip that hooks through the ring has a folded leather piece held together by one rivet. Through these two folds the buckle and the clip are attached.
