Khaki R.C.A.F. uniform, Sergeant's rank, consists of one jacket, two belts and two pairs of pants. (a) jacket with three stripes on each sleeve, eagle crest on each sleeve, just below the shoulder. Four pockets, the two breast pockets are patch pockets with button flaps, the two lower inset pockets have flaps with no buttons four gold coloured metal buttons for center front closure with "R.C.A.F." and its logo, the crown of royalty over an eagle in flight. Buttons are attached on inside by wire hoops. Two metal belt hooks above back upper corner of each lower pocket. (b,c) two belts for jackets, removable, two pronged brass buckle, five sets of belt holes on belt (b) three sets on belt, (c) buckle is presently attached to belt (b) (d,e) two pairs of pants, slash side pockets, six button fly, six inside buttons along waistband, each positioned behind belt loop, inside pockets are a heavy white cotton. Stamped on left pocket, pant, (d): " W 31 - 32 L 30 1/2 T. Eaton Co. Ltd Winnipeg, Canada, 1942", in hand writing , "W McCarthy 885", on other side in hand writing , Whyte". Pant (e) left pocket stamp faded and is almost illegible "5ft. 8 in., T. Eaton Co. Canada, 1942". On waistband, "size 22" and handwritten "Whyte".
