Lid fits over lip on basket formed by incorporating a flat ring of wood into the rim. Checkerboard pattern discernible in weaving at centre of base of basket.

- Sunlamp in black wooden case. (a) sun lamp on a 10 cm. high metal pedestal base, 31cm. rectangular support bar supports the half cylinder reflector and bulb. Reflector contains label assuring C.E.S.A. approval for safety from electric shock & fire hazard but not from physiological effects of radiation from lamp. Black plastic control device timer sits on black metal disc on top of base. Plate contains directions for use, identification as a "cold quartz ultra violet & ozone apparatus" and "C.E.S.A. approval no.6983" "110v. 20W.AC DC pat's pending", two long black wires connect bulb & reflector to base.
