The album pertains to a 1917 ACC trip throughout the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, including the Field, Lake O'Hara, Assiniboine, and Glacier areas, and includes black and white photographs, all of which are numbered. A bound-edge flip-book style album, it is tied together with a black string and has a faded gilt "Photographs" embossed in the top left corner of the front cover. Additionally, a small white paper with "W" is adhered to the top right corner and a piece of a lined paper is adhered to the centre with the album's title - this piece is torn through the middle but, as per the title page, the album is titled "Canadian Souvenirs Vol. II."

- File pertains to 10 b&w prints depicting the 1954 Maycroft Ski Meet, including participants, starting area with parking lot, and finish line. The Maycroft Ski Meet was an annual community event held on a hill near the Oldman River that operated as part of carnival events that tied with the crowning of a Carnival Queen at the Banff Winter Carnival. Participants were towed up the hill with a rope tow operated by a tractor. The Meets were eventually phased out following the openin of the (then named) West Castle Mountain Ski Hill in 1965.

Includes shots of the townsite, a ferry carrying cars across the river, a historic paddlewheel boat being repaired on shore, large-scale and small-scale gold panning, historic trains [possibly a museum], military graveyard, a local theatre play, and a parade. Reel 2 includes shots of a boat docking, street scenes [presumably Dawson City], and a train ride along the White Pass to Whitehorse - scenes here also include people getting on/off the train, scenic views from along the tracks, river boats, the interior of train cars, and arriving in Whitehorse. The original label on the first case reads "White Pass - Yukon Route, Date: 1960, Camera: B. Engler, Footage: 200ft, Time: 5 min."
