Pushing tiny button at top of handle causes lenses to spring apart. Gold rimmed eyepieces held together by curved nosepiece hinged at each eyepiece. Long 67.5 cm , fine, gold chain clipped to ring. Oval milky translucent, milkstones are bezel set at 12.0 cm intervals along each side of chain. Under nosepiece "14 k, hallmark"
