- A tiny, flat, silver horseshoe with ring attached at top. Gracefully shaped U curve, tapering toward the ends, and bevelled along inner edge. Outer edge of each leg has groove with marks representing nail holes which would be used to attach shoe to hoof. Small, permanent ring soldered just to right of top, with separate ring through, possibly rhodium plated (no tarnishing). Stamped into back: “sterling (hallmark)”
