- An engraved gold heart on a fine gold chain. Heart hinged on side to open, with fingernail notch opposite. Front of heart engraved with flower in left lobe and leaves swirling to fill the rest of the surface. Framed by a zigzag border, back simple and plain. Small ring soldered in cleavage of heart attaches to a loose ring through a small, flat, bar with an eye at the end. Locket opens to two heart shaped windows framed in gold and covered with clear cellophane backed with paper. Locket empty. Stamped into back: “gold filled”

- Two flat, round, gold lockets, hinged at bottom to open, with loose ring through soldered ring at top. (a) plain, small thumbnail slot near top to open. Inside of locket recessed with flat gold ring around edge which snaps in over celluloid to hold in place, one side contains lock of yellow-white hair under celluloid. Celluloid missing from other side. Marks: scratched into empty side, "42"(?) (b) photo on front,gold filled, with cast wreath around hand tinted photo of a street in "West Port, Newburgh" covered with celluloid. Inside recessed with rings as above, each side holding another photo scene identified as "Lindores, Newburgh" and "The Schools, Newburgh". Inner rings of copper back cast with scrolled feather design flowing around one side. Large hinge on bottom. Lip around one frame inside, fits into recess on other side to latch when closed. Stamped into one side of edge, "P.Patent”

Completely engraved over front and back surface with tiny scrolling and curlicues, design accented with champleve technique using black enamel to form a linear design of six pointed star on front surrounding small blue enamelled flower at centre. Tall knob at top holds large ring, both of which are chased on the surface. Small fingernail flange near top opens locket, hinge at bottom. Each half inside recessed with slight lip around. Portrait of man, photo? tintype? daguerrotype? barely discernible under round glass window fitting into one half. Marks: inside empty half, scratched into metal, “17”

- Hollow, silver heart shaped locket with padlock like shackle on top. Hand engraved heart has gracefully curling scrollwork on each side of the flat, heart shaped area. Edges are engraved with straight line, square pattern going around the heart edges. On each lobe of the heart sits a small 4.0 mm silver ball from which springs an arched loop of silver passing from one to the other. This shackle is fastened securely into one ball where it is hinged to allow the other end to open, much in the smae manner as a padlock. End of shackle which opens has small notched hook to hold it in place when closed.

Setting beneath, heavily encrusted with tiny gold finials and knobs. Stones at sides are rough ovals, smoothly polished and opaque zircons. Stones above and below are irregular, facet cut, and transparent blue grey colour. 14k gold band is incised with circular pattern around back. Interior band smooth all around, widening at front to hold gold encrustation . (b) six small blue grey transparent stones surrounding large, round, smoothly domed synthetic ruby at centre, gold encrusted as (a) with gold rays radiating around ruby. Three small, irregular, triangular, facet cut stones each side of central ruby. Ring oval shaped, back band smooth with gadrooned edges. Interior of ring has gold, foil-like backing all around.

At either side are smaller rubies set close together to form dart shape pointing back toward band and banded on each side by four small diamonds. Diamond bands continue to form point of engraved scrolls along each side of band. (b) clear, cut glass, narrow gold band with large, round, raised setting of cut glass stones at front. Large multi faceted stone at centre surrounded by a circle of eight smaller stones held by long prongs around outside. Ring engraved around setting and part way down band each side with scrollwork. Thin, black enamel line decorates around setting, coming to a point at either side.
