- Farm scene, two horses, one brown one white are hitched to a wagon, the white horse is tied to a hitching post. A buggy is standing in right foreground. A log house with a green roof, smoke coming out of the chimney, is behind the buggy. A woman is standing in front of the door, a woman carrying a child, a man with a small child by hand are all walking towards the wagon. A post with barbed wire is at the very bottom, some orange flowers in the bottom left. Background is green, some implements and a road. Trees along the horizon, a pale blue sky with three clouds.

- View of a cabin with tall mountains in the distance. In the centre of the background is found a distinctive triangular peak covered in snow. The peak's exposed rock is coloured brown-grey. Two mountains, partially obscured by trees, are located on either side of the centre peak-on the left, a blue-grey mountainside slopes downwards and on the right is a rounded summit with a line white snow dividing the crown from the lower slopes. In the right foreground, a brown cabin (with a red-brown roof and an open front door) sits in a meadow surrounded by tall evergreens. To the left of the front of the cabin, a brown horse is tied to a wooden railing.
