Beside the drawing it says “I HOPPED OFF AS THE AVIATORS SAY AND WENT ACROSS THE STREET ----------”. verso: near the middle of the board there is a sketch of two pirates, one with a sword that has injured the other. Underneath the drawing it reads “QUICK, BRING ME A CHAIR I CAN’T STAND THE SIGHT OF BLOOD” Below the drawing it says “My prehistoric ancestor dodging a dinosaur If I can manage to sandwich myself between two good stout fellow pedestrians I hopped off as the aviators say and went across the street That he will ever become a mechanical bird and fly over is out of the question.”
