Description

On the bare surface are two 10 cm long buckskin strips sewn to the back, parallel to the length of the piece, and thongs at both ends.

Description
Three pieces of beaded canvas with various ties on them, the two longer strips having feathers connected as well. The two longer strips are a red ground with bare canvas ends, and three like patterns of triangles in yellow with stepped square black tops on either side of a stepped square pink cross with black edges. Two buckskin thongs at the midpoint. The feathers are connected at the edges adjacent to the patterned points. The shorter strip has a red ground and two of the same pattern on it, and ties at either end.

Engraved round seal depicting woman and goat just above, back patterned with vertical lines on the brass, with "Coty" at middle. Inside top is rectangular mirror in brass frame, with shallow well in bottom holding rectangular cake of compressed beige powder. Rectangular, aqua, satin applicator pad with napped fabric on underside, and small cord loop for lifting at one corner of top. Signature "Coty" in gold across top.
