- A pair of simple horses crudely carved from a thickness of layered bark. (a) Fairly well proportioned horse carved in outline with body rounded at edges, short tail slightly carved to shape, head shaped a little to present detail of two ears. (b) Stylized elongated horse carved in outline and curved at edges of body. Long arched neck, head has evidence of single ear, other broken off. Stump of tail remaining. Note: layers of bark dry and splitting (b) bark layers curled and complete sections broken away on front legs, hind feet, neck, and nose.
