Description
An oil painting of a horse in a mountain landscape. There is a soft yellow sky with a mauve/blue mountain range in the background. In front of the mountains, on the viewer’s left, are two tepees and two horses with riders. There is a figure in front of the opening of the first teepee, another figure to the right, sitting beside a fire, and a dog to the left of the figure by the fire. Behind the tepees are two very tall coniferous trees. In the foreground is a brown and white horse, viewer’s right, grazing. The primary colours used are green, white, yellow, brown, blue, grey and purple.
