- Two carved wooden cowbells, each with three carved wooden clappers suspended from wire stretched across top inside bell, and hung by tightly twisted piece of natural twine. (a) wide short hollowed bell shaped somewhat like an axehead, three wooden stick clappers hang through round hole cut in solid bottom which also has a smaller hole each side with long line cut through connecting to large hole, for tone of bell. A loop of twine with knots holding it through each side of top of bell suspends it. (b) larger simply shaped hollowed wooden bell with flat top, three wooden stick clappers hang out of bottom opening from wire stretched across top inside bell with small dowels on wire for spacing. Suspended by twisted twine through holes at each side of top of bell and tied in a knot at top of loop. Both bells scratched. (b) has two holes broken through near top on one side.
