Description: Colour: blue, grey, brown. At the lower edge, the roof of the building can be seen. The end of a building is in the lower left corner. Behind this, out from the left side, are two other buildings and a dock with one boat tied up. The water appears at the night. Half way up across the picture is a hill of trees. The sky is blue on the night with a large cloud coming in from the left.

Description: One of a seven part portfolio The Canadian Scene assembled in 1928, portfolio #273. Wooden rooftop in centre foreground, other wooden buildings and pier on waterfront, the buildings are brown and grey. A tree covered mountain is across the bay, the bay is light coloured with blue and greenish streaks, the shadows of the building and pier and blue/green. The sky is light grey with dark blue clouds to the right top of picture. Printed on Goyu paper from six cherry-wood blocks.
