- Tom Lonsdale was the United Church Minister, for many years, in Banff; he took painting lessons from Pete Whyte circa 1950; Catharine purchased LoT.02.02 through LoT.02.04 at a United Church rummage sale, for $3.00 each, in 1975. Tom Lonsdale spent some years in a Calgary rest home and died 1975.

- Description
- This square wall hanging has green and black stitching all around the edges and in the corners. In the light background the scene includes in the upper section a male with a bow and arrow aiming at a caribou. The middle section shows a woman with a child on her back and a male figure with an arm raised. Just right of the center is a tee pee. Above the tee pee area is another woman with two children. The bottom area shows a dog tied to a fixed peg in the ground and another figure working on the tee pee. All the image shapes have been cut out of fibre with the exception of the tee pee, it is made from skin. The overall colour in this wall hanging is yellow, black,green and off white.

The faces are made of skin, with shaped noses and stitched features. The baby is bound in cotton. The mother, with her baby in her arms, is lying inside the igloo while the man is outside looking in at them. Outside of the igloo is a two coloured fur dog, pointed ears, and stitched features. A small woven basket with fur inside is in front of the dog. A pair of skin, fur and fibre muklaks lay outside.
