There are two leather handles, one attached to the two straps and another that is the strap wrapped around the entirety of the side of the case. The interior of the case is lined with a green fabric. There are two flaps from the side of the case that hang in the interior.

- Canvas duffle bag in dull grey-green with a reinforced bottom, a drawstring close, and a small pocket just below the opening of the bag. Written in black ink along the length of one side is “NICHOLAS MORANT BANFF ALTA.” There are also illegible words stenciled in black along the length of the bag near Morant’s name - part of it is cut off by the reinforcing material around the bottom. Stenciled in black inside the bag where the pocket is sewn is “MAKERS JEUNE BROS. VICTORIA” in a circle. Attached to the drawstring is a wooden name tag with Morant’s information stenciled in faded red paint.
