Stamped onto the side of the sifter opposite the handle is “SIFT-CHINE MADE IN U.S.A.” The sifter is wrapped in a plastic produce bag.

Platers and Stampers, Ltd. was a subsidiary business of EKCO, an American company that wanted to cash in on the British market - Platers and Stampers was the name given this off-shoot in order to make it sound more domestic and less “American.”
