(a) cup - very simple deep shape with stiff braided loop handle at one side, three imbricated parallelograms around outside, one blue, one pink, one green, twining technique, lip finished in lighter colour twining. (b) saucer - small shallow dish of twining technique to match cup with a series of green, pink and red parallelograms imbricated around the edge, which is finished with a lighter colour twining.
