Winnipeg to Ottawa, to Kingston, to Toronto. Ten days of leisure in Toronto, four days in Cleveland, visit with friends in Washington, DC, trip to New York, Ottawa, boat trip on S. S. Montclare, trip to Birmingham with Dolly, travel around England, leisure, return to Canada with Dolly, docked in Montreal, travel to Ottawa, from Toronto to Banff.; Banff for ten days, visits mother's grave, chores. Karmax and K2. Trip to Vancouver, leisure, return to Sidney, auditing and balance sheets. Rough trip back with Dolly from Victoria to Yokohama. Recent earthquake in Yokohama, description of city's destruction. Travel back through Nagasaki, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, return to Calcutta.
