- A mess kit consisting of a leather case holding a knife and fork:a) A rectangular heavy leather case with a flap at the top which fastens with a snap. The case holds a folded knife and fork. The name “P.A. Moore” is handwritten on the case. b) An ivory-handled knife with a rounded flat steel blade. The blade folds into the handle. c) An ivory-handled fork with four tines. The steel tine section of the fork folds into the handle. There is a steel corkscrew at the opposite end of fork that also folds into the handle. The fork is stamped with “Germany”.
