Description
A long wooden rod passing through U-shaped slice of wood with wood thumb-screw at the side. One end of rod has headless nail driven through protruding slightly on flattened side of rod. Nail bevelled both sides to form sharp edge. U-shaped head is adjustable along length of rod by means of thumbscrew to mark distance from the steel marker nail. End of thumbscrew has groove cut across for screwdriver. Large letter "W" (Ward) scribed on flat edge of head. Marks on side edge of head "Buck & Hickman London made"
