Description
A metal octagonal film reel case with an empty 35mm film reel. a) The metal octagonal film reel case splits down the middle horizontal with two hinges on one side to keep the lid attached and on hinge on the other with a locking mechanism that entails sliding a locked shaped piece of metal through a slit in another piece of metal. On this side of case is two half circle bumps. Along the top of the lid of the case is various labels, mostly illegible. The one near the lock is faded into a pink colour, the legible text reads “2” in handwriting, “ACCOUNT METRO”, “STORAGE NUMBER” “(ST JHON) 3” in handwriting, “SUBJECT” “GANG THAT COULDN’T SH???? STRAIGHT” in handwriting, and “Please Do Not Cover This Label Non-Inflammable Acetate Film FORM SCV 500”. There is a label on side of the case which appears to be a shipping(?) label. On the back near the back hinges is another label that is illegible since its been ripped. The interior of the case is plain with some cardboard-like padding for the reels. b) The empty 35mm reel is silver with circular cut-outs, larger around the edge and smaller in the middle. Along the edge of the reel on both sides is raised text that reads “GOLDBERG BROS.” “20 MINUTE” “35 MM” “DENVER COLO.” “2000 FEET” and “MADE IN U.S.A”. There is around the middle of the reel where the film would be. 4.9 x 38.0 cm
