The teapot has a short spout and a top handle woven from straw that attaches to ceramic loops on either side of the lid - though one has broken off. The lid has an unglazed interior with a small protrusion to lock it in place. There is a small hole on top of the lid that suggests a knob or handle was there but has broken off. “Robinson” is inscribed on the base.
