- Pipe stem (no bowl) in two parts, part a. is catlinite only, 35.5 cm long and part b. stem and wooden tube is 69 cm long. Commercial stem with a simple pattern of rings carved into it, reddish brown in colour. Probably made by Indigenous groups in Minnesota for commercial trade.

- A long rectangular tan buckskin bag with drawstring opening at top and long (21 cm) buckskin fringe at the bottom; bottom two-fifths of bag on front completely beaded with dark red background and multi-coloured elongated triangles and diamond motifs; two triangles hang from the top of the beaded panel with their points nearly touching those of two triangles sitting on the bottom of the panel; three diamond shapes are across the middle of the panel, with the centre one having light blue oblique lines running off at its sides; at each corner and at the middle of the side edges are small yellow and black squares; the side edges and the mouth of the bag are beaded with opalescent white beads in a narrow lace-like beading; a buckskin thong pull-tie is threaded through holes cut at the top of the bag and has a tuft of white rabbit fur at each end.

- Brown and black carved pipe bowl. There are two notes that accompany this object, both with CRW writing. One note on a brown envelope: “Doug Light These belong to Joe Abraham of Big Horn. They are very old - perhaps before real pipes - belonged to his great grandmother - the face in the rock is also unusual - the nose fell off & they tried to glue it on - Joe would like to know the value of it. Catharine Whyte Banff.” Inside this evelope are some other slips of paper: a blue “Glenbow-Alberta Institute Routing Slip” to “JOHN HELLSON CARDSTON, ALTA 252-1946”, and two yellow “Alberta Stoney Indian Hand Crafts” tags with “Joe Abraham very old - pipe - very old - when no pipes at all - Laurier Hunter” and “Joe Abraham June 26 ‘72 very old don’t know history nose fell off tried to glue it.”
