Inset grey eyes, red mouth open showing white upper teeth. Short hair inset at nape of neck and at ears, longer from top of head, bare circle at top, long front hair tied to sides, boys' hairdo. Hand sewn inner garment has tie dyed red collar sewn on to red body, green sleeves, red and white tie-dyed belts. Sash 55.5 x 2.3 - blue gold one side, other red with blue stripe.

- (a) is possibly heavily starched linen fabric hat, made in a simple dome with a 3 cm. band, cut but not hemmed at the edges and decorated with a pink plaid satin ribbon which forms a band around hat, tucked down at one side and gathered into a "bow" at the other. (b) is a basketry straw hat woven in a twill fashion with sombrero edge, a blue satin ribbon as band decorated with two blue glass buttons at the front and flowers made of cloth in white and pink at the back. Ribbon ends hanging down as tails behind, and hat is lined with cream satin. Commercially manufactured.

Doll is swaddled with striped grey, blue and white cotton flannel material, moss bag has flap at head trimmed with red and yellow beads along edge, and is trimmed with a zig-zag line of red and yellow beads along sides. Opening of bag is covered with buckskin flap and is laced across with buckskin thong. Marks: small spot of purple ink/paint on back of bag.
