Beads strung on heavy cotton thread in diamond shapes, no backing, dominant colour light blue in main body with bands of dark blue and amber in rows across. "T" opening for neck outlined with very pale blue beads, rawhide strips sewn onto top front opening with rawhide strip 34.0 long laced through for tie. Two pieces of string tied 3.0 from opening on shoulder to hold together when worn. Another band of beads at centre front and back 45.0 x 6.0 with 2 bands of light mauve beads, attached to bottom are 2 strings of short tube beads, dark blue on ends, others amber, each with a small brass bell at the bottom, some bells missing. Edges bound with cotton with narrow rawhide ties under arms.

Description
Ladies buckskin beaded dress. Fringe all around bottom and a row half way down the skirt. V-shaped inset at sides of skirt is fringed. Back beaded yoke is 31.0x48.0, all beadwork is backed by heavy cotton. Short sleeves have fringe at end, some with black beads. Beadstrip is 42.0x16.0 attached to bodice, open under arms. Two stepped pyramids of red, green, yellow and blue on a white background, 3 blue standards with crosses at top between pyramids. Front yoke blue and yellow beaded bands top and bottom, white background , centre design of 2 irregular shapes in red, green and yellow, flanking them are two stepped diamond shapes in red, blue and yellow, flanking them on both sides of yoke are red chained rectangles. Hanging from bottom of yoke are 11.0 long are green tubular beads from which hang either a bell or a shell. Back yoke is same except the centre design has 4 shapes and bands at top and bottom are different, bottom band is green and white, top is green, white and yellow and there are no shells, just bells hanging.
