Description
Ten small flat ivory figures (household gods?) delicately carved front and back (each aprrox. 3 cm. high), attached to stepped pyrimidal brown wood base by a small wooden dowel in the base of each figure then through a small hole in wood. Each figure seems to be a different personification of a mythological figure (mermaid, turtle, bull,...) holding a weapon or instrument. The stepped wooden base is one piece except for the highest step which is attached separately to the back.
