The band is backed by white fabric (canvas?).

The ends of the band are joined with elastic, and the elastic is covered with a medallion that holds three feathers (eagle?) (24.0 cm long). The headband is backed with white fabric. Tag attached: “found in Eaton’s box marked ‘My Indian Headband’.”

- Headstall with browband attached to long beaded strip with hide loops, one loop is covered with floral beaded medallion. Entire piece has white background with small geometric designs: orange and green triangles; blue and white diamonds; red and white diamonds; red and blue diamonds; green and orange crosses; and blue and orange crosses. A diamond-shaped patch, with a rounded red and green cross, hangs from the centre of the headband. The ends of the long strip have hide medallions and thong ties.
