- Japanese picture screen, folding. Each panel 12.0 x 5.5. Six panels made of thin wood, paper glued front and back to form hinges for folding. Backing is striped red and cream. Front depicting cherry blossom viewing, lady on the left is playing the fishing game ? A man is standing up, a girl in waiting is holding something in her hands, a mistress is sitting. Checkerboard design encompasses entire picture.

Hanging flower lacquer design over surface of box, bottom of box has large blossom design. Door clasp fragile. Inset tacks on box top which serve as handle rests.

(b) 43.0 x 43.0 green prominent colour, texture tr, purple mountains br, top left green branch, blue grey 16.8 x 14.0 block lower left with Japanese writing. (c) 62.0 x 62.0, 2 complete designs, green textured tr and bl, purple and grey throughout. Inlet scene with houses and trees on fan centre bottom. Scalloped edged round purple shape with writing, "Hiroskiki" wrapping cloth for gifts, goods, or for carrying, the customer would finish the cut ends. All 3 have a similar design suggesting they came from the same shop.
