- A rough sketch of the 1947 Christmas card. A figure stands in the opening of the Dutch door while the animals surround the cabin. Written on the top edge “SEASONS GREETINGS,” along the bottom edge “CATHARINE AND PETER,” “Peter Whyte BANFF.” Near the BRC “6 1/2” and close to the TRC “3 1/2,” besides both numbers it appears to say “inches.”verso: landscape with an artist sitting at the top of the hill painting, there is a plane and a mountain in the background. In the BLC there are ink scribbles and “Peter Whyte” as a practice signature and the initials “P.W.”

- A detailed sketch of the 1947 Christmas card. Animals join Catharine at the Dutch door of her home where she is serving them some food. On the top edge of drawing is reads “SEASONS GREETINGS” and along the bottom of the page “CATHARINE AND PETER” and “Peter Whyte 47 BANFF.” In the BLC “Catharine” is written.Inside the fold of the paper you can see a simple sketch of the floor plan of their cabin (main level), and inside one room it reads “kitchen.” On the bottom half of the page there is multiple squirrels drawn out. verso: there is a rough sketch of what looks like a landscape, with multiple birds drawn around it.

- Rough sketch of the 1949 Christmas card. Scene depicts what looks like Norquay in the background, their home, and animals coming to and from the cabin. There is a rabbit watching the animals visiting and leaving the house, and a figure is slipping in a chair by the chimney stack. On the top edge “SEASONS GREETINGS 1949” and on the bottom edge “CATHARINE AND PETER,” and “Peter Whyte” can be read. Near the TLC different dimensions are written out: “4 3/8 x 6 3/4” (above 6 3/4 there is a faint 6/8 written), “2 4 1/2 3 3/8,” “4 3/8 x 1 1/2.”verso: there is another rough sketch of the same scene seen on the the front side of the paper. In this image though there is no mountains in the background or the tree in front of the house.
