In a patch of yellow and brown trees and grass in the foreground are two bighorn sheep eating, they are located on the left side of the painting. Behind the yellow trees is a mid section of green trees and behind that a small area of trees in the distance that are a blue colour. Behind all the trees is a mountain blue in colour with some snow on its peaks. The sky above is blue with white clouds.
