Description
A collection of 10 metal cable ski bindings of various sizes and makes. Each cable binding is in a oval-shaped loop features one end with coils of 1.5cm wide (for the heel ?) and the rest of the binding is made up of a smaller coil cable of 0.5 wide. Bindings a) and b) feature a metal lever locking mechanism on the larger coil end, curves around the coil. On the locking lever text is inscribed that reads “ GROSWOLD SKI CO. INC. “GOODMAN” U.S PAT. APPL. FOR”. Binding b) is slightly smaller in length, 33.5 cm. Bindings c) and d) feature a metal lever locking mechanism on the opposite end of the larger coil, with the smaller coil cable placed within a set of teeth on the metal lever lock. On the top of the lever text is inscribed that reads “Alpine” in cursive and underlined. Underneath the lever is a metal piece that has two slots in order to secure the binding to the ski. c) 1.5 x 12.3 x 50.3 cm. d) 1.5 x 10.9 x 50.5 cm.Bindings e) - j) have no locking mechanism, they are just a oval loop with one end of larger coil cable and the rest the smaller coil cable. Binding e) features a leather strap attached to each side of the loop at the ends of the larger coil cable. The leather strap features a metal buckle to adjust size. Description
Two red-coloured leather ski bindings with metal buckles at one end of the strap. They are made of two straps, the shorter strap attached to the metal buckle has a teardrop cut to attach to the second strap. The two straps are intertwined through these two cuts. One side of the straps is a smooth finish of the leather and the other side rough and suede-like. Binding b) is cut off the end and it’s total length is 164.9 cm. Binding a) comes to a point at the end of the leather strap. On the smooth edge near the second teardrop cut on the longer strap reads “MADE IN GERMANY MARKER 160CM”. Binding b) this inscription is more worn and harder to read.

Description
A pair of two heavy black leather ski boots with a metal carrier. The ski boots have a thick sole and are laced up on the upper part of the heel. The front of the boots are laced up with a rubber loop which reads “vibram”, underneath the main tongue is another portion of the boot that is laced up with red shoe laces (the inner tongue). The rubber loop is connected to 8 silver hooks and six gold hooks. The inner liner of the boots are a light brown, on the outside edge of the interior of the boots is “9W” in handwriting. One boot (b) is slightly taller than the other at 19.4 cm. The metal carrier (c) has a hook at the top for carrying and two metal plates with six holes cut out. One side of the plate is inscribed with “ANDERSON & THOMPSON SEATTLE U.S.A”. The locking system is a screw-like mechanism with a piece of metal to hold the toes and a round knob that twists to lock the ski boots in. 38.3 x 5.0 x 6.7 cm
