Mottled grey stone, solid carved block. Owl-like bird has a bear draped fully over back. Back of bird and under the bear are 2 carved faces, one 11.0x8.5, other 6.0x4.5. The bird and the bear have ivory inset round eyes, bird's 1.0 dia. bear's .4 dia. Some other dark substance inset into the eyes as pupils. The base which is part of the block is a triangular shape 21.0x20.9.
