- In tall, square, white box with flat, blue base: Small, square, glass bottle with sharp shoulders and narrow neck with flat, black plastic stopper. Neck of bottle wrapped with gold metallic cord which is attached to stopper. Flat, square stopper has cut off corners and Lanvin symbol (stylized woman and child with billowing gowns) cut into top. Small, square, silver label on front printed in blue with same symbol and "Rumeur /extrait de Lanvin / Paris France" moulded into bottom. Tall, white, lift-off box lid fits over white boxy flange on flat blue base. Flange is constructed with recessed square hole, with an upright blue plastic semi-circle at each side, fitted to hold square bottle securely. Box lined with blue along corner edges, and embossed with Lanvin symbol on top. Label on base of box contains product name, and indicates "15 gr. env. p. flacon".

- A soft belt of red violet velvet with large silver buckle. Velvet is sewn into long tube and gathered slightly at end where attached to buckle. Two part buckle hooks together with large hook and eye on back. Cast buckle shaped like two pointed cinquefoils butting together at the flat side, each containing a female dancing figure in very high relief. Figure has firm breasts and tiny waist, and is wearing draped bloomers and tall headdress. Scrolls and flowers form garland around figure. Smooth border around pebbly background surface, follows shape of buckle each side of buckle has bar soldered across back to attach belt. Velvet attached one side only with loose basting stitches around bar.

- Two ivory figures, man and woman. Seated woman has bowl between knees and is displaying open book. Her back is turned to standing man who appears to be directing to something over his left shoulder, his right index finger pointing over shoulder. Two cord holes in bottom and signed under woman's right knee. Design has been incised with fine markings, and paint on man's hat band and on kimono ties on his back. Detail on base of netsuke very good.

- The case is in five segments which are both held together and can be separated by tension of the purple cord. Cord extends from a hole on either extremity of segments rim edges, through to attach itself to the ivory netsuke. Netsuke is woman supporting small child on her back at left shoulder, woman wearing kimono, obi and getas. Signature on woman's right leg. Cord hole found on woman's left hip. Round filigree brass button slides on cord between netsuke and inro. Lacquer design on inro is landscape with birds on one side. Obverse is harbour scene with lighthouse boats and full moon, all in gold and black lacquer.

- A purse of blue grey silk with ivory battens at drawstring closure, and embroidered beaded figures of man and woman dancing. Purse is essentially a square with a panel along the sides and bottom for width, with a stiff panel inserted at the bottom between lining and purse. Top draws closed with a silver metallic cord through a short ivory batten on the front and back causing the bag to form two pleats on either side. Ends of cord have red and grey beaded loop tassels. Bag lined front, back and bottom with pink silk. Figures beaded on front of purse depict woman in yellow dress and man in green trousers and pink jacket holding top hat while they are dancing.

One side contains pocket holding tissue package, other side has 12.0 x 5.0 cm mirror, and long narrow pocket holding black plastic pocket comb covered with fake leather. (b) red with green medallion pattern , one side forms flap covering slit pocket for tissue package, with deep, flat pocket behind. Inside pocket is business card written in Japanese. Found folded in purse is cellophane package containing two long, flat representations of kimoned Japanese woman made from folded paper, marbled yellow cardboard cover.
