- A bear and a man in the woods is the subject matter in this image. To the left a black bear stands on his back two legs and roars at the man that is located on the right side. Between the man and the bear is a tree covered in snow and there are several other trees surrounding them as well. The man looks frightened and has his arms half up in the air almost as if he is about to run away. In the foreground and around there feet is a lot of snow. The woodsman is wearing a hat and a heavy coat with a belt tied tight at the center.

Four of the tallest trees fill the righthand side of the picture. A small figure (clothed in black) sits sketching near the lower left corner. (The paint in this corner is in bad condition.) The large background mountain is coloured medium blue at the top, with lower slopes of green. The woman stands in the middle of a tan path, which extends from the lower right corner and disappears into the forest behind the figure. The peak of the large mountain in the background is located directly above the woman's head. The mountain had shaded areas of medium blue and its sunlit slopes are tan (with white areas of snow). The sky is light blue. A light yellow cloud floats above the mountain's summit (the cloud dissipates as it extends towards the left side of the picture).Tom Link 1945/46 had the vision of her.
