Green trees to left centre of foreground and across the river, low blue/purple mountains are in front of snow-capped mountains to centre left. Cloudy sky with a few patches of blue.

Clear blue fills the top.This painting was lent to the Winnipeg Art Gallery in 1975 to be included in the exhibition The Railway: A patron of the Arts in Canada. The exhibition was circulated across the country for two years.
