- View of the foothills of mountains. The foreground slopes downwards towards a valley in the middleground. The valley slopes are covered in green, ochre and pale red-brown grass, as well as, patches of dark green and black trees. On the valley's floor are indications of green and brown fields-small touches of blue and white in the valley (near the middle of the picture) may be buildings. Just beyond the fields are triangular hills which separate the valley from the plain in the distance. The right side of these hills are emphasized by the dark patches of forest. In the far distance are medium blue-grey mountains. The sky is light blue and is divided in half by a line of very pale white clouds with some pink blended in.

In the background there are mountains. In the third drawing to the right of the second is a group of people travelling in a horse caravan. Above them there is a rough sketch of what could be another tipi. In the fourth drawing in the bottom half of the paper near the right edge there is a man driving a wagon.
