Rolling and covered in places with trees the meet up with the mountains in the far distance. A blue lake is at the centre right of the print.The mountains are a pale pink and some are capped with snow. The sky is pale blue and makes up the upper half of the image.

Four tipis and a number of small outbuildings make a sundance encampment at the middle-right of the print. The Rocky Mountains are visible in the distance and a re hazy grey-blue. The settlement is surrounded by green grass which becomes darker as it gets closer to the bottom of the print.
