Underneath the bottom rectangle reads “IT FITS YOUR FINGERS.” There is also handwriting that reads “Med.” On the right side of the box is a white rectangle bordered with yellow, which reads “THE GRANBY MFG. CO. GRANBY QUE. PATENT No. 274758”. The back side of the box has two rectangles top and bottom, which each feature a scene of a golf course. The top rectangle is a scene of a clubhouse and green with flag. The bottom rectangle is a scene of a green surrounded by hills and trees. A deconstructed golf tee box with an illustration of a golfer with older style golf clothes (kilt, long socks, suit jacket and hat) and golf club in his hands. The background of the box is yellow with a green grass on the bottom fourth. A green stripe is along the middle of the box horizontally. On the left wing of the box is a large sized golf ball on a tee with a price tag hanging off the top. Written on the box at towards the top reads “PRINTED IN CANADA”. Near this is a handwritten note that reads “To Elmer Charlton from Dr K” with no illegible words. In the middle the selling points are printed which reads, “ “PEG” TRADE MARK” below this reads “GOLF” with a golf tee in the middle “TEES.” On the bottom of the main side of the box it reads “Celluloid tees will not mar club heads”.
