- File consists of one photograph album containing 62 print photographs [40 b&w, 22 colour] including some in loose envelopes inside album, 2 newspaper clippings and a Banff Minor Hockey green ribbon from 1968. Content pertains to members of the Banff hockey teams who played between 1908 and ca. 1980. Includes group shots of hockey teams in various years, some featuring Jack MacAulay as coach; individual portraits and posed photographs, including Herb MacAulay ca. 1965; print depicting Herb Ollis feeding a bear in 1938; and 2 newspaper clippings from 1979 pertaining to Banff's hockey team. Individuals named in photographs include: Tommy Craig, Axie Wilson, Tommy Anderson, Joe Stenton, Bill Craig, Curly Wheatley, Cyril Paris, Fulton Dunsmore, Ernie Leacock, Mousie Saddington, Johnny Woodworth, Jack Brown, Joe Smith, Gerald Powderface, Clifford Powderface, Charles Powderface, and others.

Photographs document winter and summer sports, including skiing, hockey, snowshoeing, dogsleds, boxing, canoeing, and horseback riding.
- Notes
- One photograph, ca. 1916-1921, is likely of Charlie Reid (far left) on a high school team (looks like rowing). The team's uniform says "JENKINS" on the front. Charlie went to high school in Medicine Hat.
- One photograph of a man in the snow with snow shoes sticking up is annotated with "Jas Bryant, Banff" on the back.
- One photograph, that is quite blurry, is annotated on the back with "Halliwell winning Sask. steeplechase, Oct. 15/26". Photograph depicts the competition with people on foot and on bicycles.
- One photograph is annotated on the back with " Dog derby at Banff, 1st 10 mile lap, Feb. 5/24." Photograph depicts a group of people and dogs with sleds in front of Brewster's Hall.
- One blurry photograph depicting a snow shoe race is annotated on the back with "Dear Charlie, Unfortunately this is the best I got of the snow shoe race. Sorry. Best wishes, Geo. Barley."
- Three photographs of a group of skiers are annotated on the back with "Jan. 3/31." Two of the group members possibly Charlie and Edmee Reid.

- Frederick Albert Woodworth (August 8, 1895 - April 16, 1916) was the fifth child of eleven, born to parents Elizabeth and Benjamin Woodworth in the town of Banff. Fred Woodworth worked as an electrician in the mines at Bankhead prior to joining the war effort in February 1915. Fred was shot by enemy fire on April 16, 1916 and is now buried in Ypres, Belgium. Fred has a second memorial located in the Woodworth family section of the Banff Town Cemetery.

- File consists of a published guidebook for ice hockey, three menus/programmes for events in Banff, three postcards, three pages of loose poetry, and news clippings/pages from newspapers. Content pertains to a community Christmas dinner event at the King Edward Hotel in Banff; loose poetry, handwritten; postcards sent to Benjamin Sr., Maud and Ethel Woodworth, between 1906 and ca. 1915; a copy of the newsletter "Trench Echo" from the 27th Battalion in Winnipeg from 1915; a dinner banquet menu/programme for the 56th Overseas Battalion dated 1916; a news clipping announcing the marriage of Ted and Minnie Davidson, ca. 1915; two pages of a June 7, 1888 publication of the "National Park Life" newspaper; an invitation to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Ladies Auxiliay Annual Ball 1914; and a news clipping of a memorial article for Frederick Woodworth who was killed in action during World War I.

- One page of a two-page handwritten poem is signed "E M W" [likely "Ella Maud Woodworth"].
