Description
A man’s well-worn wool shirt, Black Watch tartan with two breast pockets, flaps but no buttons, and a button-down front closure. There is a black piece of cotton fabric (1.2x13.5cm long) handsewn across the middle of the inside of the collar and then another piece 8.0cm further, to viewer’s right (1.0x3.2cm long). There is a red cotton rectangular piece (0.50x7.3cm long) of cloth hand-sewn over where a label may have been and under that two pieces of iron-on labels. There are two homemade patches; one on the collar viewer’s right in black and one on the viewer’s left below the pocket in red and white material.
