The woman is standing somberly, and the second child is standing to her right and is turned looking at the viewer. Above the figures there is a drawing of a cup and saucer and what looks like a tie. In the background of the paper there is two more drawings. One is of a man sitting in a chair, and the other is just the outline of a face, in profile view. Near the BRC there is a small circle with lines dashed around it.
