- Two, small, pocket jackknives, each with two blades of steel. Sides riveted to body of knives with three brass rivets. (a) ivory, shaped with slight curve to fit hand, steel caps at each end, two blade fold out at same end from double compartments with brass dividers, one smaller, 4.4, and one large, 6.0, blade with finger nicks in opposite sides. (b) mother of pearl, thinner knife with blades folding out from opposite ends. Brass caps at each end, and single compartment in body for blades is lined with brass. Small blade, 3.8, and long blade, 4.8 have finger nicks.
