A collection of 29 military buttons, each with a shank on the back and a front relief design: a) 3 BUTTONS - 2.5 cm; animal head with curved horns holding crown between tips and '15 LH CANADA' between horns; ring through nose and banner underneath reading 'Semper Alacer'; b) 6 BUTTONS - 2.0 cm; same insignia as (a); c) 3 BUTTONS - 2.5 cm; intertwined monogram of 'GR V' (King George V) circled by band reading 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' with crown at top; d) 2 BUTTONS - 1.7 cm; same insignia as (c); e) 1 BUTTON - 1.5 cm; same insignia as (c); f) 3 BUTTONS - 1.3 cm; same insignia as (c), but higher, sharper relief; g) 3 BUTTONS - 2.5 cm; intertwined monogram of 'ER VII' (King Edward VII) in centre under crown; wreath of three-leaved clovers along bottom and up sides; h) 1 BUTTON - 1.4 cm; monogram as (g), but surrounded by band reading 'Honi soit qui mal y pense' with crown at top; i) 1 BUTTON - 2.7 cm; slightly domed with maple leaf inside circle reading 'Honi soit qiu mal y pense' with crown at top and 'CANADA' over emblem; j) 1 BUTTON - 2.5 cm; same insignia as (i)(note: top dented in); k) 1 BUTTON - 2.4 cm; slightly domed with crown on anchor inside circular band reading 'Royal Marines Light Infantry' and surrounded by a wreath of olive branches (note: slightly dented);l) 4 BUTTONS - 1.8 cm; low relief of lion and unicorn rearing on either side of round symbol with crown and lion at top; m) 1 BUTTON - 2.4 cm; highly domed with U.S. emblem of eagle holding arrows and olive branch in talons behind U.S. shield and circled by stars
