- An irregularly shaped vessel with various coloured clays juxtaposed to resemble land formations, sweeping upwards to approximately mid way. Lip is cut away to alter round shape. Also bottom edge is cut away in two places. Composed of 3 stoneware clays and porcelain - laminated, thrown and altered, glazed with a traditional Celedone glaze, fired in reduction cone 9. Post firing sand blasting with silver amalgam added in lamination separations to conclude the work in keeping with historical ceramic traditions.

Below mountains is a snow-covered Lake Louise. In the foreground there are two small pine trees both covered with snow. One is far left and the other far right with a snow-covered bush beside it. there are tracks on the snow. The print is comprised of seven colours, a palette of soft blue, white, green and brown/yellow. Across the bottom is an artist inscription and title of the work. The artist signature is in the bottom right corner. Au verso there are two large labels. - Description
- This vessle resembles a bowl with the opening 5 cm from the vessel’s edge. The edge creates an overhang into the opening, resulting in shadow inside the bowl. The opening of the bowl is a kidney shape, and the inside of the opening is predominately greyish brown clay with a bluish porcelain ring near the top of the opening. The inside of the bowl is covered with a thin layer of glaze. The predominant colour of the piece is the cream of the porcelain which is located mostly on the outside of the vessle. The dark brown and greys of the clay are introduced into the bottom of the piece and wind around the bowl mixing with the white porcelain near the centre and top. Streaks of light blue and green porcelain are introduced sparingly on both sides of the piece. The shape of the bowl is an oval which is higher at one end than the other. On the bottom of the bowl two notches in the shape of slanted rectangles have been cut. A notch is also cut on the top lip of the bowl creating a wave type formation.
