Description: A sketch or unfinished painting of a ring of nine teepees. The teepee in the foreground, viewer’s right, is the largest, has inside firelight and shadows visible. The teepee, in the foreground, viewer’s left, is partially visible, with shadows and light from within visible. There are two figures in the foreground, one in red, and one in blue and yellow and suggestions of others in the background. There is a low blue sky dusk descending overhead.
