The top edge of the work is dark green to about one-fifth of the surface; the rest of the picture is light green with overall splashes of colour throughout: white, yellow, dark green, purple. Michaelle McLean and Ellen Eyman were students at the Banff Centre 1976/77 winter programme. Parks Canada project Parks Awareness provided salary and material for these two to do a number of prints of the Park for Parks Canada. All the work was done at the Banff Centre.

Description
A commercial print glued to a card; it has dominant colours of green, yellow, grey, and blue. In the foreground is the low green vegetation and the grey/blue rocks on the trail to Assiniboine from the Sunshine area. Two people on horseback are on the viewer’s right; they are almost at the top of a pass. The pass is lower than the hills on either side of it. There is a line of green coniferous trees growing on both sides. Blue mountains are beyond, and above those, a blue/grey sky. On the white border lhc written in longhand is, “High Country, Canada” and on the rhc it is signed in longhand “Middleton”.
